LUCID has been on the bus for thirteen years. Thirteen years filled with music, friendships, love, and a lot of laughs. Its been a winding road but we have never wanted to do anything else. We are privileged to do what we love, and are even more privileged by the love you give to us in return.
We recently made a very hard decision to take a break from touring and playing live shows. After mid-April we will not be doing any live performances for the foreseeable future. We want to take some time for ourselves and our families, its been a long time. We are excited to use this time to explore other avenues for making music. We are going to continue recording music and putting our music out into the world.
We want to stress that LUCID is in no way breaking up! We can’t! We wouldn’t know what to do without each other! We are still best friends, brothers for life, and that will never change, even after all this time and so many miles of road. We have a chemistry that needs exploration and we are excited to finally have the time to do that. We are currently recording our 5th studio album here in the Adirondacks, at Blue Voodoo Productions. Many songs on this album have never been heard before or have only been played a couple times and we are eager to share this with you all. This album “Bonsai Zen” will be released at the final show of our “Off the Bus Tour” tour ending on April 16th at the historic Strand Theater in downtown Plattsburgh New York.
We have no idea what the future holds, but we know its going to be good. We love you all, and thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We hope to see you all at one or all of our upcoming shows to help us celebrate LUCID and 13 years of rocking steady.
