Backwoods Pondfest 2015 Shares First Wave of Musical Lineup
Music fans hoping to attend Backwoods Pondfest Music Festival 2015 have some good news headed their way. Festival organizers have released the first wave of the musical lineup, with Particle, Spiritual Rez and more on the list.
A total of more than 10 musical acts were announced as part of the first wave for the festival. Lucid, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Sophistafunk, Normal Instruments, Blind Owl Band, Gang of Thieves, Waylon Speed, Mosaic Foundation, Mister F and Manifesto are all part of the 2015 musical lineup at Backwoods Pondfest. The music festival, which started in 2007, features a number of local bands, as well as bands from around the U.S. It is unknown as of press time when the remainder of the musical lineup will be announced for Backwoods Pondfest 2015. As noted on the festival’s website, more than 20 bands performing on two stages are planned for this year’s event, which is scheduled for two days.
The first wave of the performance lineup was announced via a press release and was posted on the festival’s website and official Facebook page on March 24. The announcement posted on Facebook regarding the performance lineup garnered plenty of “likes” and compliments from festival fans, too. The bands seem equally excited for the upcoming performance. On Spiritual Rez’s official Facebook page, a message was posted that told fans to “Get ready for the insanity.”
Tickets to the festival are available for purchase, with advanced weekend tickets available for $70. Day-of tickets will be available for purchase, too. Backwoods Pondfest 2015 will be held August 7 and 8 at Twin Ponds Campsite in Peru, N.Y., with spaces for camping for festival attendees.
